The Interlake Mecalux pallet rack tear drop add-on measures 108"W x 42"D x 144"H and is designed to enhance versatility in warehouses handling diverse product types. This pre-configured add-on unit includes one upright frame and two beam shelf levels, utilizing high-strength steel and quality raw materials for durability. The upright frames feature tear drop perforations that allow for shelf adjustment in 2" increments and are finished with a green powder coat to ensure a consistent, durable surface. Standard, pre-punched footplates facilitate easy anchoring, while the orange pallet rack beams include a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that automatically seats and locks, safeguarding against accidental beam displacement. This damage and tamper-proof locking system maximizes total capacity and ensures industry-leading security. The 1-5/8" step within the orange pallet rack beams accommodates wire decking and other accessories, allowing for easy assembly and interchangeability with brands such as Global, Wireway/Husky, Unarco, Steel King, USP, Speed Rack, and Invincible. The capacity is based on a 36" beam shelf spacing, and the units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc (RMI).
