The Interlake Mecalux pallet rack tear drop add-on measures 108"W x 42"D x 120"H and is designed for versatility in warehouses managing a wide variety of product types. This pre-configured add-on unit includes one upright frame and two beam shelf levels, with pallet rack upright frames and beams manufactured from high-strength steel and other quality raw materials. The tear drop perforations on the face of the upright column allow for shelf adjustment at 2" increments, and the frames feature a green powder coat finish for enhanced durability. Standard, pre-punched footplates facilitate easy anchoring, while the orange pallet rack beams incorporate a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that automatically seats and locks, protecting against accidental beam displacement. This damage- and tamper-proof locking system maximizes total capacity, providing the industry's most secure connection. The 1-5/8" step within the orange pallet rack beams accommodates wire decking and other accessories, allowing for easy assembly and interchangeability with brands such as Global, Wireway/Husky, Unarco, Steel King, USP, Speed Rack, and Invincible. Capacity is based on 36" beam shelf spacing, and the add-on units are Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc (RMI) certified.
