The Interlake Mecalux pallet rack tear drop starter measures 96"W x 36"D x 96"H and provides versatility for warehouses accommodating a wide variety of product types. This pre-configured starter unit includes two upright frames and two beam shelf levels, featuring pallet rack upright frames and pallet beams manufactured from high-strength steel and quality raw materials. The uprights have tear drop perforations allowing for shelf adjustment at 2" increments and are finished with a green powder coat for durability. The standard, pre-punched footplates facilitate easy anchoring. The orange pallet rack beams utilize a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that secures and locks automatically, protecting against accidental beam displacement. This damage and tamper-proof locking system ensures the industry's most secure connection while maximizing total capacity. The 1-5/8" step within the beams accommodates wire decking and other accessories, and extending the pallet rack system is straightforward by ordering Interlake Mecalux welded pallet rack add-on units. The assembly is easy and compatible with Global, Wireway/Husky, Unarco, Steel King, USP, Speed Rack, and Invincible systems. The starter units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc. (RMI).
