The Interlake Mecalux pallet rack tear drop starter measures 96"W x 48"D x 96"H and is designed to provide versatility for warehouses with diverse product types. This pre-configured starter unit includes two upright frames and two beam shelf levels, manufactured from high-strength steel and quality raw materials. The pallet rack upright frames feature tear drop perforations that allow for shelf adjustment in 2" increments and are finished with a green powder coat for durability. The standard pre-punched footplates facilitate easy anchoring, while the orange pallet rack beams utilize a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that locks automatically, securing against accidental beam displacement. This tamper-proof locking system enhances safety and maximizes total capacity. The 1-5/8" step within the beams accommodates wire decking and various accessories, and extending the pallet rack system is straightforward with the addition of welded add-on units. The system is designed for easy assembly and is interchangeable with Global, Wireway/Husky, Unarco, Steel King, USP, Speed Rack, and Invincible. Capacity is based on a 36" beam shelf spacing, and the units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc (RMI).
