The Interlake Mecalux pallet rack tear drop starter unit measures 108"W x 48"D x 96"H and is designed to provide versatility for warehouses with a diverse range of product types. This pre-configured starter unit includes two upright frames and two beam shelf levels. The pallet rack's upright frames and beams are constructed from high-strength steel, featuring tear drop perforations for 2" incremental shelf adjustments. They come with a green powder coat finish that ensures a durable coating, and standard pre-punched footplates facilitate easy anchoring. The orange pallet rack beams employ a piston lock system that automatically secures the frame-to-beam connection, protecting against accidental beam displacement and ensuring a secure connection while maximizing total capacity. The 1-5/8" step within the beams accommodates wire decking and other accessories. Expanding the system is straightforward with the addition of Interlake Mecalux welded pallet rack add-on units. The system offers easy assembly and is interchangeable with brands such as Global, Wireway/Husky, Unarco, Steel King, USP, Speed Rack, and Invincible. Capacity is based on 36" beam shelf spacing, and the pallet rack tear drop starter units are Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc (RMI) certified.
