The Interlake Mecalux pallet rack tear drop starter unit measures 96"W x 42"D x 120"H and includes two upright frames and two beam shelf levels, designed for versatility in warehouses with a diverse range of products. The pallet rack upright frames and beams are constructed from high-strength steel and feature tear drop perforations for shelf adjustment in 2" increments. The frames are finished with a green powder coat for durability, while the standard pre-punched footplates facilitate easy anchoring. The orange pallet rack beams utilize a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that automatically seats and locks, preventing accidental displacement and ensuring a secure connection that maximizes total capacity. With a 1-5/8" step within the beams, the system accommodates wire decking and other accessories, and extending the pallet rack setup is straightforward with available add-on units. The assembly process is easy, and the system is interchangeable with brands such as Global, Wireway/Husky, Unarco, Steel King, USP, Speed Rack, and Invincible. The capacity is based on 36" beam shelf spacing, and these starter units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc (RMI).
