The Interlake Mecalux pallet rack tear drop starter measures 96"W x 42"D x 120"H and is designed to provide versatility for warehouses with a diverse range of product types. This pre-configured starter unit includes two upright frames and two beam shelf levels. The pallet rack upright frames and beams are constructed from high-strength steel, featuring tear drop perforations that allow for shelf adjustment at 2" increments. The frames are finished with a green powder coat for durability, while standard, pre-punched footplates facilitate easy anchoring. The orange pallet rack beams utilize a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that automatically seats and locks, enhancing safety by preventing accidental beam displacement with a damage and tamper-proof design. The locking system ensures a secure connection while maximizing total capacity, and the 1-5/8" step within the beams accommodates wire decking and other accessories. The system can be easily extended with Interlake Mecalux welded pallet rack add-on units and is compatible with several other brands, including Global, Wireway/Husky, Unarco, Steel King, USP, Speed Rack, and Invincible. The capacity is determined based on 36" beam shelf spacing, and the units are Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc (RMI) certified.
