The Interlake Mecalux pallet rack tear drop starter measures 120"W x 36"D x 120"H and serves as a versatile solution for warehouses that accommodate a wide range of product types. This pre-configured starter unit includes two upright frames and two beam shelf levels, designed for easy ordering. Constructed from high-strength steel and other quality raw materials, the pallet rack upright frames feature tear drop perforations that allow for shelf adjustment in 2" increments. The frames are finished with a green powder coat that provides a durable and even coating, while standard pre-punched footplates facilitate easy anchoring. The orange pallet rack beams incorporate a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that engages and locks automatically, offering protection against accidental beam displacement. This damage and tamper-proof locking system ensures a secure connection while maximizing total capacity. The 1-5/8" step within the beams accommodates wire decking and other accessories, with the option to extend the pallet rack system by ordering add-on units. Assembly is straightforward, and the system is compatible with Global, Wireway/Husky, Unarco, Steel King, USP, Speed Rack, and Invincible. Capacity is based on 36" beam shelf spacing and the units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc (RMI).
