The Interlake Mecalux pallet rack tear drop starter measures 96"W x 48"D x 144"H and is designed for versatility in warehouses accommodating a wide variety of product types. This pre-configured starter unit includes two upright frames and two beam shelf levels, with its components manufactured from high-strength steel and other quality materials. The tear drop perforations on the upright columns allow for shelf adjustments at 2" increments, and the frames feature a durable green powder coat finish for longevity. Standard pre-punched footplates facilitate easy anchoring, while the orange pallet rack beams utilize a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that automatically seats and locks to prevent accidental beam displacement. This tamper-proof locking system enhances security and maximizes total capacity. The 1-5/8" step within the orange pallet rack beams accommodates wire decking and other accessories. Expanding your pallet rack system is straightforward with the addition of Interlake Mecalux welded pallet rack add-on units. Assembly is easy, and the system is compatible with Global, Wireway/Husky, Unarco, Steel King, USP, Speed Rack, and Invincible. The capacity is based on 36" beam shelf spacing, and these starter units are Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc (RMI) certified.
