The Interlake Mecalux pallet rack tear drop starter measures 96"W x 48"D x 144"H and is designed for warehouses accommodating a diverse range of products. This pre-configured starter unit includes two upright frames and two beam shelf levels, constructed from high-strength steel and other quality materials. The tear drop perforations on the upright column allow for shelf adjustments at 2" increments, and the frames feature a green powder coat finish, ensuring durability. The standard pre-punched footplates facilitate easy anchoring, while the orange pallet rack beams come equipped with a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that automatically secures the assembly, preventing accidental beam displacement and damage. The 1-5/8" step within the beams allows for compatibility with wire decking and additional accessories, and extending the pallet rack system is straightforward by ordering add-on units. The unit is designed for easy assembly and is interchangeable with various brands including Global, Wireway/Husky, Unarco, Steel King, USP, Speed Rack, and Invincible. The capacity is based on 36" beam shelf spacing, and the starter units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc (RMI).
