The Interlake Mecalux pallet rack tear drop add-on measures 96"W x 42"D x 96"H and is designed to enhance versatility in warehouses with diverse product types. This pre-configured add-on unit includes one upright frame and two beam shelf levels. The pallet rack upright frames and beams are constructed from high-strength steel and quality raw materials, featuring tear drop perforations on the upright column for shelf adjustment in 2" increments. The upright frames are finished with a durable green powder coat, providing an even coating, while standard pre-punched footplates facilitate easy anchoring. The orange pallet rack beams incorporate a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that automatically seats and locks, preventing accidental beam displacement. This damage and tamper-proof locking system ensures maximum security and capacity. Additionally, the 1-5/8" step within the beams accommodates wire decking and other accessories, ensuring simple assembly. The add-on units are also interchangeable with brands such as Global, Wireway/Husky, Unarco, Steel King, USP, Speed Rack, and Invincible. Certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc (RMI), the capacity of the product is based on 36" beam shelf spacing.
