Penco lockers with recessed handle single tier assembled include a variety of features designed for secure, reliable, and quiet use. The right-hand butt hinge is recessed into the doorframe, preventing the hinge pin from being forced out or tampered with. All door openings utilize mortis and tenon construction with spot welding to ensure rigidity. The continuous door strike guarantees secure closure, and padding on the strikes helps to dampen closing noise. Both single and double tier models are equipped with a recessed handle that offers a smooth, catch-free front while protecting padlocks from tampering. The latching channels incorporate nylon glides to minimize sound during operation. These single tier lockers feature a 3-point latching system located at the top, bottom, and sides. The legs raise the height by 6 inches, and it is recommended to anchor the lockers to the floor and/or wall for safety. The lockers are finished with powder coating. Effective 3/01/2021, champagne color finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers maintain the same color throughout, while gray color finished quick ship Vanguard lockers also feature a uniform color. Other color finishes in Vanguard and Guardian lockers will have common champagne color body parts, with single solid colors available for longer lead times and additional charges.
