Penco lockers with recessed handle single tier assembled include a variety of features to ensure secure, reliable, and quiet use. The right-hand butt hinge is recessed into the doorframe, preventing the hinge pin from being forced out or tampered with. All door openings feature mortise and tenon construction with spot welding for rigidity. A continuous door strike ensures secure closure, while the strikes feature padding to dampen closing noise. Single and double tier models come with a recessed handle that provides a smooth, catch-free front and protects padlocks from tampering. Latching channels are equipped with nylon glides to reduce sound when opening or closing. These single tier lockers have 3-point latching (top, bottom, and sides), and the legs add 6" to the height. It is recommended to anchor lockers to the floor and/or wall for safety. The lockers are finished with a durable powder coat. Effective 3/01/2021, champagne color finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers maintain the same color throughout the locker. Gray color finished only quick ship Vanguard lockers are consistent in color throughout. Other color finishes in Vanguard and Guardian will have common champagne color body parts. Single solid colors are available with longer lead times and additional charge.
