Penco lockers with recessed handle double tier assembled include a variety of features to ensure secure, reliable, and quiet use. The right-hand butt hinge is recessed into the doorframe, preventing the hinge pin from being forced out or tampered with. All door openings feature mortise and tenon construction with spot welding for rigidity. The continuous door strike ensures secure closure, with strikes featuring padding to dampen closing noise. The recessed handle provides a smooth, catch-free front and protects padlocks from tampering. Latching channels have nylon glides to reduce sound when opening or closing, and this double tier locker incorporates 2-point latching (top and bottom). Legs add 6 inches to the height, and it is recommended to anchor lockers to the floor and/or wall for safety. The lockers come with a powder coat finish. Note: Effective 3/01/2021, champagne color finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers remain the same color throughout the locker, while gray color finished only quick ship Vanguard lockers are in the same color throughout. Other color finishes in Vanguard and Guardian will have common champagne color body parts, with single solid colors available for longer lead times and an additional charge.
