The locker kit includes a double tier locker with advanced features designed for secure, reliable, and quiet operation. It is equipped with a right-hand butt hinge that is recessed into the doorframe, preventing the hinge pin from being tampered with. The construction of all door openings features mortise and tenon joints with spot welding for added rigidity. A continuous door strike ensures secure closure, while padding on the strikes dampens closing noise. The recessed handle offers a smooth, catch-free front that protects padlocks from tampering. Latching channels incorporate nylon glides to minimize sound during operation. The locker utilizes 2-point latching (top and bottom) and comes with legs that add 6 inches to its height, making it advisable to anchor the lockers to the floor and/or wall for safety. The durable powder coat finish ensures longevity. Note that effective March 1, 2021, champagne color finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers maintain a consistent color throughout, while gray color finished only quick ship Vanguard lockers also feature a uniform color throughout; other color finishes will have common champagne color body parts, with single solid colors available at longer lead times and an additional charge.
