The locker kit includes a variety of features designed for secure, reliable, and quiet use, with a right-hand butt hinge recessed into the doorframe to prevent tampering. Each door opening is constructed with mortis and tenon joints and spot welding for added rigidity. The continuous door strike ensures secure closure, while the padded strikes help reduce closing noise. A recessed handle offers a smooth, catch-free front and protects padlocks from tampering. The latching channels are equipped with nylon glides to minimize sound during operation. This double tier locker incorporates a 2-point latching system (top and bottom) and increases in height by 6" due to its legs. It is recommended to anchor lockers to the floor and/or wall for safety. The locker features a durable powder coat finish, with color-specific notes indicating that as of March 1, 2021, champagne color finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers maintain a consistent color throughout, while gray color finished Vanguard lockers are also uniform. Other color finishes in Vanguard and Guardian will contain common champagne color body parts, with single solid colors available upon request and subject to longer lead times and additional charges.
