Penco lockers with recessed handle single tier assembled include a range of features designed for secure, reliable, and quiet operation. The right-hand butt hinge is recessed into the doorframe, preventing the hinge pin from being forced out or tampered with. All door openings utilize mortis and tenon construction with spot welding to enhance rigidity. A continuous door strike ensures secure closure, while padded strikes reduce closing noise. Both single and double tier models feature a recessed handle that allows for a smooth, catch-free front and protects padlocks from tampering. The latching channels are equipped with nylon glides to minimize sound when opening or closing the doors. These single tier lockers are designed with a 3-point latching system (top, bottom, and sides, adding 6" to height) and it is recommended to anchor the lockers to the floor and/or wall for safety. The lockers have a durable powder coat finish, and effective 3/01/2021, champagne color finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers have a consistent color throughout. Gray color finished quick ship Vanguard lockers also maintain the same color throughout. Other color finishes in Vanguard and Guardian will utilize common champagne color body parts, while single solid colors are available with longer lead times and additional charges.
