BSC Preferred's™ Series Industrial Roof Exhausters are engineered for effective general ventilation in production or warehouse environments where quiet and efficient airflow is paramount. The kit includes a ruggedly constructed steel curb cap featuring a spun venturi section to enhance airflow efficiency. Standard components consist of heavy gauge fabricated steel propellers, with the option of cast aluminum spark-resistant propellers for hazardous locations. The system incorporates a butterfly damper section with mill galvanized construction; the damper blades automatically open when the fan is activated and close weathertight when the unit is off, rotating in nylon bearings on a stainless steel axle. It features belt-driven operation for reduced noise and industrial-grade cast iron pillow block ball bearings with locking collars for durability. Optional accessories available include weatherproof non-fused disconnect switches and insulated roof curbs suitable for both flat and pitched roofs.
