BSC Preferred's™ Series Industrial Roof Ventilators are designed for general ventilation needs, offering models suitable for both intake and exhaust air flow, with options for belt driven or direct driven construction. These ventilators feature a heavy gauge continuously welded curb cap for watertight construction, rugged fabricated steel propellers, and optional non-sparking cast aluminum propellers for hazardous locations. The standard configuration is belt driven, although direct drive is available upon request. They can be built for supply or exhaust applications and are equipped with a special reversible propeller. Other attributes include a fabricated aluminum weather hood with a removable birdscreen, which can be easily opened and fully supported for complete access to the fan inside. Optional accessories include gravity, counterbalanced or motorized dampers, weatherproof non-fused disconnect switches, insulated roof curbs for flat or pitched roofs, and a filter box section for intake units, which reduces CFM.
