BSC Preferred's™ Series Industrial Roof Exhausters are designed for general ventilation in production or warehouse areas where efficient, quiet air flow is required. The kit includes a ruggedly constructed steel curb cap with a spun venturi section for efficient air flow, while heavy gauge fabricated steel propellers come standard; cast aluminum spark-resistant propellers are available for hazardous locations. The unit features a butterfly damper section made of mill galvanized construction, with damper blades that open when the fan is energized and close weathertight when the unit is off. The dampers rotate in nylon bearings on a stainless steel axle, and the system is belt-driven for quiet operation. It also incorporates industrial-grade cast iron pillow block ball bearings with locking collars. Optional accessories are available, including weatherproof non-fused disconnect switches and insulated roof curbs for flat or pitched roofs.
