BSC Preferred's™ series industrial roof ventilators are designed for general ventilation needs, with models available for both intake and exhaust air flow, offering options for belt driven or direct driven construction. The ventilators feature a heavy gauge continuously welded curb cap that ensures watertight construction. Standard units include rugged fabricated steel propellers, with non-sparking cast aluminum propellers available for hazardous locations. These ventilators are typically belt driven but can be configured for direct drive if required, and can be built for supply or exhaust functionality with a special reversible propeller. Each unit comes with a fabricated aluminum weather hood equipped with a removable birdscreen, which is easily opened and fully supported for complete access to the fan inside. Optional accessories include gravity, counterbalanced, or motorized dampers; weatherproof non-fused disconnect switches; insulated roof curbs for flat or pitched roofs; and a filter box section for intake units, which reduces CFM.
