BSC Preferred's™ series industrial roof ventilators are designed for general ventilation needs, with models available for both intake and exhaust air flow, as well as options for belt-driven or direct-driven construction. The units feature a heavy gauge continuously welded curb cap that ensures watertight construction. Standard construction includes rugged fabricated steel propellers, although non-sparking cast aluminum propellers are available for hazardous locations. The standard configuration is belt-driven, but direct drive options are also available as needed. These ventilators can be built for either supply or exhaust applications, featuring a special reversible propeller. Additionally, each unit comes with a fabricated aluminum weather hood equipped with a removable birdscreen, which can be easily opened and is fully supported for complete access to the fan inside. Optional accessories include gravity, counterbalanced, or motorized dampers, weatherproof non-fused disconnect switches, insulated roof curbs for flat or pitched roofs, and a filter box section for intake units to reduce CFM.
