The Bluff® spring-loaded aluminum dock plate is designed specifically for docks where hand trucks are utilized to load trucks and vans, making it particularly suitable for beverage and baked goods distributors, as well as snack, sundry, and paper suppliers. This folding dock plate facilitates the efficient movement of non-powered hand trucks, platform trucks, and dollies into and out of trucks. The platform is mounted on the top of the dock, featuring a dual-spring lift assist that allows for easy vertical storage. Constructed from slip-resistant aluminum treadplate with machine beveled deck edges, it ensures safety during operation. The installation process is straightforward, although hardware is not included. This dock plate is manufactured and tested in compliance with ANSI standard MH30.2, and a worksheet will be sent for approval prior to manufacturing, as certain dock/truck combinations may necessitate special bends and springs.
