The Bluff® steel dock board with forklift tine notches, known as the Bluff® Speedy Board® dock board, features integral fork cut-outs for easy and safe maneuvering, allowing forklift drivers to move, set, and retrieve the dock plate without leaving the seat. The leading edge includes twin notched holes enabling the driver to scoop the board and move it to and from the dock without raising lifting loops or securing chains, enhancing safety and productivity during high-traffic dock operations. Constructed from all-welded steel with an anti-skid diamond tread surface, the dock board ensures maximum safety, featuring tapered curbs to prevent tire damage and beveled ends for smooth entry and exit. A safety stop on the underside fits snugly between truck and dock to prevent shifting under load. This dock board complies with OSHA specification 1910.30(a) and ANSI specification MH30.2. With a capacity of 10,000 lb and an 11° bend on the truck end, capacity reflects the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and lift truck, rated for a single shift at equipment speeds up to 3 mph. The width should be 12" greater than the lift truck or load, while usable width is 6" less than overall width. Stackers and narrow aisle loaders are not suitable for use on this dock board, and refrigerated trucks require special dock plates. Application height accommodates up to 7" above dock with propane or gas forklifts and up to 5" above dock with electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
