The Bluff® Speedy Board® steel dock board with integral fork tine notches features all-welded steel construction with an anti-skid diamond tread surface for maximum safety. It includes twin notched holes on the leading edge that enable forklift drivers to scoop and maneuver the board without leaving the forklift seat or engaging lifting loops or chains, enhancing productivity and safety in high-traffic dock operations. The dock board has a 10,000 lb. capacity rated for a single shift with equipment speeds up to 3 mph, with a width recommended to be 12" greater than the lift truck or load and a usable width 6" less than the overall width. The design features tapered curbs to prevent tire damage, beveled ends for smooth entry and exit, and a safety stop on the underside to prevent shifting between the truck and dock. It complies with OSHA specification 1910.30(a) and ANSI specification MH30.2 and incorporates an 11° bend on the truck end. The dock board is intended for use with forklifts and pallet jacks, specifying that stackers and narrow aisle loaders are not suitable and that refrigerated trucks require special dock plates. Application height is specified as up to 11" above dock for propane or gas forklifts and up to 8.5" above dock for electric forklifts or pallet jacks. The capacity rating reflects the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and lift truck.
