The Bluff® steel dock board with forklift tine notches, known as the Bluff® Speedy Board® dock board, features integral fork cut-outs that enable easy and safe maneuvering, allowing forklift drivers to move, set, and retrieve the dock plate without leaving the forklift seat. The board’s leading edge has twin notched holes for scooping and moving the board without raising lifting loops or securing chains. Constructed with all welded steel and an anti-skid diamond tread surface, the dock board provides maximum safety and includes tapered curbs to prevent tire damage and beveled ends for smooth entry and exit. A safety stop on the underside fits snugly between truck and dock to prevent shifting under load. It complies with OSHA specification 1910.30(a) and ANSI specification MH30.2 and has a 10,000 lb. capacity with an 11° bend on the truck end. The capacity is rated for a single shift with equipment speeds up to 3 mph and should be used with a width 12" greater than the lift truck or load, while usable width is 6" less than the overall width. Stackers and narrow aisle loaders are not recommended for use. Refrigerated trucks require special dock plates. The "HT" dimension refers to the height difference above the dock, with application height up to 5" above dock when used with propane or gas forklifts, and up to 3" above dock with electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
