The Bluff® Speedy Board® steel dock board with forklift tine notches features integral fork cut-outs for easy and safe maneuvering, allowing the forklift driver to move, set, and retrieve the dock plate without leaving the seat. The board's leading edge has twin notched holes enabling the driver to scoop and move the board to and from the dock without raising lifting loops or securing chains. Constructed from all welded steel with an anti-skid diamond tread surface, it provides maximum safety, while tapered curbs help prevent tire damage and beveled ends ensure smooth entry and exit. The dock board includes a safety stop on the underside that fits securely between truck and dock to prevent shifting under load. It complies with OSHA spec. 1910.30(a) and ANSI spec. MH30.2. The dock board has a 10,000 lb. capacity, rated for a single shift with equipment speeds up to 3 mph maximum, and features an 11° bend on the truck end. Width should be 12" greater than the lift truck or load, with usable width being 6" less than overall width; stackers and narrow aisle loaders should not be used, and refrigerated trucks require special dock plates. Application height capacity is up to 7" above the dock with propane or gas forklifts and up to 5" with electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
