The Bluff® Speedy Board® steel dock board with forklift tine notches features integral fork cut-outs that enable the forklift driver to move, set, and retrieve the dock plate without leaving the forklift seat. Its leading edge has twin notched holes allowing the driver to scoop the board easily without raising lifting loops or securing chains, enhancing safety and productivity during high-traffic dock operations. Constructed entirely of welded steel with an anti-skid diamond tread surface, the board ensures maximum safety. It includes tapered curbs to prevent tire damage, beveled ends for smooth entry and exit, and a safety stop on the underside that fits snugly between the truck and dock to prevent shifting under load. The dock board complies with OSHA specification 1910.30(a) and ANSI specification MH30.2. It supports a 10,000 lb. capacity with an 11° bend on the truck end. Capacity is the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and lift truck, rated for a single shift with equipment speeds up to 3 mph. The width should be 12" greater than the lift truck or load, with usable width 6" less than overall width. Stackers and narrow aisle loaders should not be used on this dock board, and special dock plates are required for refrigerated trucks. The application height accommodates up to 9" above dock with propane or gas forklifts and up to 7" above dock with electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
