The Bluff® Steel Dock Board with Forklift Tine Notches features a robust design for efficient dock operations, allowing forklifts to maneuver safely without the driver leaving the cab. It includes integral fork cut-outs for easy positioning, along with twin "notched" holes on the leading edge for effortless scooping and movement. This dock board is constructed with all-welded steel and has an anti-skid diamond tread surface to enhance safety, while the tapered curbs help prevent tire damage and beveled ends ensure smooth entry and exit. The safety stop on the underside fits securely between the truck and dock, preventing shifting under load. It complies with OSHA spec. 1910.30(a) and ANSI spec. MH30.2, supporting a 15,000 lb. capacity and featuring a 7° bend 17" from the truck end and a 9° bend 8" from the dock end. The board's capacity is determined by the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and lift truck, rated for a single shift at a maximum equipment speed of 3 mph. The usable width is 6" less than the overall width, and the board should be 12" wider than the lift truck or load. It is important to note that stackers and narrow aisle loaders are not suitable for use on this dock board, and refrigerated trucks require specialized dock plates. The application height accommodates up to 11" above the dock with propane or gas forklifts and up to 8.5" above the dock with electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
