The Bluff® Steel Dock Board with Forklift Tine Notches features the Bluff® Speedy Board® design, which incorporates integral fork cut-outs for safe and efficient maneuvering. This dock board enables forklift operators to position and retrieve the dock plate without exiting the forklift, enhancing productivity and safety during high-traffic dock operations. It features a robust all-welded steel construction with an anti-skid diamond tread surface for optimal safety. The design includes tapered curbs to prevent tire damage and beveled ends for smooth entry and exit. Additionally, a safety stop on the underside ensures stability between the truck and dock. The dock board complies with OSHA specification 1910.30(a) and ANSI specification MH30.2, with a maximum capacity of 15,000 lbs. It features a 7° bend 17 inches from the truck end and a 9° bend 8 inches from the dock end, with the capacity reflecting the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and lift truck. It is rated for single shifts at equipment speeds up to 3 mph, with the width recommended to be 12 inches greater than the lift truck or load. The usable width is 6 inches less than overall width, and it is advised that stackers and narrow aisle loaders not be used on the dock board. Refrigerated trucks require special dock plates. The application height allows for up to a 7-inch difference above the dock with propane or gas forklifts and up to a 5-inch difference with electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
