The Bluff® Steel Red Pin Heavy Duty Dock Board features dual positioning pins on each side for added flexibility and safety, making it an ideal solution for challenging angled parking situations, including the handling of refrigerated trailers and overseas containers. The dock board includes full-length side pockets and four 1" diameter high-strength locking pins on 2" centers, enhancing adjustability and safety while enabling use by trucks below dock level without the need for turning the board around. It has fold-down 11"W x 4"H lifting loops positioned on 27" centers for easy forklift transport and positioning, and contoured curbs designed to prevent runoff and forklift tire damage. Constructed from all-welded steel for durability in high-traffic, multiple-shift docks, the board incorporates one 7° bend 17" from the dock end and one 9° bend 8" from the truck end. It complies with OSHA specifications 1910.30(a) and ANSI specifications MH30.2. The capacity rating is based on the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and lift truck, with a limit set for equipment speeds of 3 mph maximum. It is essential to note that stackers and narrow aisle loaders should not be used on the dock board, and the width should be at least 12" greater than the lift truck or load, with a usable width that is 6" less than the overall width. The height difference above the dock (HT) can accommodate an application height of up to 9" above the dock or 3.5" below dock for propane or gas forklifts, and up to 7" above dock or 3.5" below dock for electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
