The Bluff® Steel Red Pin Heavy Duty Dock Board features dual positioning pins on each side for added flexibility and safety, making it ideal for difficult angled parking situations where trailers cannot reach the dock, also known as park-out. It is designed to handle refrigerated trailers and overseas containers with flexibility. The dock board includes full-length side pockets and four 1" diameter high-strength locking pins spaced on 2" centers to enhance adjustability and safety. It accommodates trucks below dock level without requiring reversal of the board. Fold-down 11"W x 4"H lifting loops positioned on 27" centers allow easy forklift transport and positioning. Contoured curbs protect against runoffs and forklift tire damage. Constructed entirely of welded steel, it is suitable for high-traffic, multiple-shift docks and includes one 7° bend located 17" from the dock end and one 9° bend positioned 8" from the truck end. The dock board complies with OSHA specification 1910.30(a) and ANSI specification MH30.2. Capacity represents the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and lift truck, rated for equipment operating speeds up to 3 mph; stackers and narrow aisle loaders are not recommended for use. The overall width should be 12" greater than the lift truck or load, with usable width being 6" less than the overall width. A 14% grade applies for pallet trucks and electric forklifts, while a 19% grade applies for gas-powered forklifts. Application height ranges up to 11" above the dock or 4.5" below the dock with propane or gas forklifts, and up to 8.5" above the dock or 4.5" below the dock with electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
