The Bluff® heavy duty steel dock board with lock pins facilitates easy and adjustable positioning between the truck and dock. This steel dock board features fold-down lifting loops for easy transport and positioning by a forklift. It includes two 1" diameter positioning pins and two 4-position pin pockets on each side, ensuring exact and secure placement between the dock and the truck. With all welded steel construction, these dock boards are designed for high traffic cycles and multiple shift operations. The board includes one 7° bend 17" from the dock end and one 9° bend 8" from the truck end. It complies with OSHA specification 1910.30(a) and ANSI specification MH30.2. The capacity is determined by the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and lift truck, rated for a single shift with equipment speeds of up to 3 mph. The width must be 12" greater than that of the lift truck or load, and the usable width is 6" less than the overall width. Stackers and other narrow aisle loaders are not recommended for use on a dock board, and refrigerated trucks require special dock boards. The height difference above the dock (HT) is applicable for heights up to 7" above the dock or 3" below the dock with propane or gas forklifts, and up to 5" above the dock or 3" below the dock with electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
