The Bluff® heavy duty steel dock board with lock pins is a forkliftable dock board designed for easy and adjustable positioning between a truck and dock. It features fold-down lifting loops for forklift transport and positioning, and includes two 1" diameter positioning pins along with two 4-position pin pockets on each side to ensure exact and secure placement between the dock and truck. Constructed entirely from welded steel, this dock board is suitable for high traffic cycles and multiple shift docks. The design incorporates one 7° bend located 17" from the dock end and one 9° bend positioned 8" from the truck end, and it complies with OSHA specification 1910.30(a) and ANSI specification MH30.2. The capacity rating accounts for the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and lift truck, intended for a single shift operation at equipment speeds up to 3 mph. The width of the dock board should be 12" greater than the lift truck or load, with a usable width that is 6" less than the overall width. Stackers and narrow aisle loaders are not recommended for use on this dock board, and refrigerated trucks require special dock boards. Application height ranges up to 9" above the dock or 3.5" below the dock when using propane or gas forklifts, and up to 7" above the dock or 3.5" below the dock when using electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
