The Bluff® heavy duty steel dock board with lock pins is a forkliftable dock board designed for easy and adjustable positioning between truck and dock. It features fold-down lifting loops for forklift transport and positioning, and includes two 1" diameter positioning pins along with two 4-position pin pockets on each side for exact and secure placement between the dock and truck. Constructed from all welded steel, it is suitable for high traffic cycle and multiple shift docks. The dock board includes one 7° bend located 17" from the dock end and one 9° bend located 8" from the truck end. It complies with OSHA specification 1910.30(a) and ANSI specification MH30.2. The capacity rating accounts for the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and lift truck, rated for a single shift with equipment speeds not exceeding 3 mph. The width should be 12" greater than the lift truck or load, with the usable width being 6" less than the overall width. It is not recommended for use with stackers or narrow aisle loaders. Refrigerated trucks require special dock boards. The application height accommodates up to 7" above the dock or 3" below the dock with propane or gas forklifts, and up to 5" above or 3" below the dock with electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
