The Bluff® heavy duty steel dock board with lock pins is designed for easy and adjustable positioning between trucks and docks, featuring a forkliftable design for convenient transport. This dock board includes fold-down lifting loops, two 1" diameter positioning pins, and two 4-position pin pockets on each side, ensuring precise and secure placement. Constructed from all welded steel, it is suitable for high traffic and multiple shift environments. The board incorporates one 7° bend located 17" from the dock end and one 9° bend located 8" from the truck end. It complies with OSHA spec. 1910.30(a) and ANSI spec. MH30.2, with a capacity determined by the maximum pallet load and lift truck weight combined, rated for a single shift with equipment speeds not exceeding 3 MPH. The width of the dock board should be at least 12" greater than the lift truck or load, and the usable width is 6" less than the overall width. Note that stackers and narrow aisle loaders should not be utilized on this dock board, and refrigerated trucks require specialized dock boards. The application height ranges up to 13" above the dock or down to 5.5" below the dock with propane or gas forklifts, and up to 10" above the dock or 5.5" below with electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
