The Bluff® portable steel platform loading dock is designed to expand dock areas and enhance freight handling capabilities without requiring site or concrete work. This mobile dock platform is ideal for situations where space constraints make standard yard ramps impractical, offering increased maneuverability for loading and unloading trailers. It is also portable enough to function as a free-standing loading dock when paired with a yard ramp in remote unloading locations. The unit can be used in conjunction with various dock boards for transferring cargo between trailers or as a staging area for shipments. It has versatile applications, including placement in front of dock or railcar doors to serve multiple loading/unloading positions simultaneously, or as a portable work positioner in factories. The platform can be ordered without a curb, enabling forklifts to make a 90° right-angle turn into trailers. The heavy-duty steel floor plate is engineered for forklift use and features 8" high curbs for enhanced safety. The loading height must be specified at the time of order, and optional adjustable height platform legs allow for height adjustments from 44" to 55" to accommodate various dock height requirements. Custom platform sizes, optional forklift pockets, and platforms with factory-installed EZ-Pull edge of dock levelers are available upon request.
