The Bluff® portable steel platform loading dock is designed to expand dock areas and enhance freight handling capabilities without the need for site or concrete work. This mobile dock platform is ideal for situations where space is limited, allowing for improved maneuverability when loading and unloading trailers. The steel construction ensures durability, and the platform can serve as a free-standing loading dock when paired with a yard ramp in remote unloading locations. It can be utilized in conjunction with multiple dock boards for transferring cargo between trailers or as a portable shipment staging area. Unique applications include placement in front of a dock or railcar door to facilitate simultaneous loading and unloading at multiple positions, and it can be employed in factories as a portable work positioner. The platform can also be ordered without a curb to enable forklifts to make right-angle turns into trailers. The heavy-duty steel floor plate is engineered for forklift use, complemented by 8" high curbs for added safety. The loading height must be specified at the time of order, and optional adjustable height platform legs are available, providing 44" to 55" height adjustments to accommodate most dock height requirements. Custom platform sizes, optional forklift pockets, and platforms with an EZ-Pull edge of dock leveler factory installed are also available upon request.
