The Bluff® portable steel platform loading dock is designed to expand dock areas and enhance freight handling capabilities without requiring site or concrete work. Ideal for situations where space limitations prevent the use of a standard yard ramp, this mobile dock platform provides increased maneuverability for loading and unloading trailers. It can function as a free-standing loading dock when paired with a yard ramp in remote unloading areas and can be utilized alongside multiple dock boards for seamless cargo transfer between trailers or as a staging area for shipments. The dock is versatile enough for various applications, such as positioning it in front of dock or railcar doors to accommodate multiple loading/unloading positions simultaneously, serving as a portable work positioner in factories, or opting for a design without curbs to enable forklifts to make right-angle turns into trailers. The heavy-duty steel floor plate is specifically engineered for forklift use, and 8" high curbs provide added safety. The platform loading height needs to be specified at the time of order, with optional adjustable height platform legs allowing for 44" to 55" height adjustments to suit most dock height requirements. Additionally, custom platform sizes, optional forklift pockets, and platforms with an EZ-Pull edge of dock leveler factory installed are available upon request.
