The Bluff® Speedy Board® aluminum dock board features welded aluminum curbs and forklift tine notches, designed for easy placement and retrieval in low-to-medium volume dock applications with a pallet jack or forklift. This heavy-duty aluminum treadplate dock board boasts fully welded extruded aluminum curbs and safety restraint legs, ensuring maximum corrosion resistance and controlled spark production. It includes beveled ends for smooth entry and exit, with an 11° bend and an 11" lip on the truck end (customizations are available). Each Speedy Board® is equipped with integral fork cut-outs for quick and safe forklift placement. The board complies with OSHA spec. 1910.30(a) and ANSI spec. MH30.2. Important specifications include a capacity that accounts for the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and lift truck, rated at equipment speeds of 3 mph maximum. The width should exceed the lift truck or load by 12", with the usable width being 6" less than the overall width. The HT" difference up is the height difference above the dock, with a 14% grade applicable to pallet trucks and electric forklifts, and a 19% grade for gas-powered forklifts. The application height can reach up to 7" above the dock with a propane or gas forklift and up to 5" above the dock with an electric forklift or pallet jack.
