The Bluff® Speedy Board® aluminum dock board features welded aluminum curbs and forklift tine notches, providing a lightweight solution for easy placement and retrieval. This all-welded aluminum dock board is designed for low-to-medium volume dock applications and is suitable for use with pallet jacks and forklifts. The heavy-duty aluminum treadplate offers maximum corrosion resistance and controlled spark production, complemented by fully welded extruded aluminum curbs and safety restraint legs. The dock board includes beveled ends for smooth entry and exit, an 11° bend, and an 11" lip on the truck end, with customization options available upon request. Integral fork cut-outs allow for quick and safe placement with a forklift. It complies with OSHA spec. 1910.30(a) and ANSI spec. MH30.2. The capacity of the dock board is determined by the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and lift truck, with a rated capacity for equipment speeds up to 3 mph. It is important to note that stackers and other narrow aisle loaders should not be used on the dock board, and the width should be 12" greater than the lift truck or load. The usable width is 6" less than the overall width. The height difference is defined as HT" above the dock, with a 14% grade applicable to pallet trucks and electric forklifts and a 19% grade applicable to gas-powered forklifts. The application height capability reaches up to 11" above the dock for propane or gas forklifts and up to 8.5" above the dock for electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
