The Bluff® Speedy Board® aluminum dock board is designed for low-to-medium volume dock applications and features welded aluminum curbs and forklift tine notches for enhanced durability and safety. Its lightweight construction facilitates easier placement and retrieval, while the heavy-duty aluminum treadplate ensures maximum corrosion resistance and controlled spark production. The dock board incorporates fully welded extruded aluminum curbs and safety restraint legs, along with beveled ends that provide smooth entry and exit. It includes an 11° bend and an 11" lip on the truck end, with integral fork cut-outs for quick placement with a forklift. The product complies with OSHA spec. 1910.30(a) and ANSI spec. MH30.2. The dock board's capacity is determined by the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and lift truck, rated for equipment speeds of 3 mph maximum, and is not suitable for stackers or narrow aisle loaders. The usable width is 6" less than the overall width, and the width should be 12" greater than the lift truck or load. The application height is suitable for up to 4" above the dock with propane or gas forklifts and up to 2" above the dock with electric forklifts or pallet jacks. The grade specifications include a 14% grade for pallet trucks and electric forklifts, and a 19% grade for gas-powered forklifts.
