The Bluff® Speedy Board® aluminum dock board is designed with welded aluminum curbs and forklift tine notches, providing a lightweight solution for easier placement and retrieval. This all-welded aluminum dock board is ideal for low-to-medium volume dock applications utilizing a pallet jack or forklift. Constructed from heavy-duty aluminum treadplate, it features fully welded extruded aluminum curbs and safety restraint legs to ensure maximum corrosion resistance and controlled spark production. The dock board includes beveled ends for smooth entry and exit, along with an 11° bend and an 11" lip on the truck end; customizations are available upon request. Each Speedy Board® is equipped with integral fork cut-outs for quick and safe placement with a forklift. It complies with OSHA specification 1910.30(a) and ANSI specification MH30.2. The capacity is determined by the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and the lift truck, rated for equipment speeds of 3 mph maximum. It is advised that stackers and other narrow aisle loaders should not be used on the dock board, and the width should be 12" greater than the lift truck or load, with a usable width that is 6" less than the overall width. The height difference above the dock (HT" difference up) should be noted, where a 14% grade applies to pallet trucks and electric forklifts, while a 19% grade is applicable for gas-powered forklifts. The application height accommodates up to 7" above the dock with propane or gas forklifts and up to 5" with electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
