The Bluff® heavy duty steel dock board with lock pins is designed for easy and adjustable positioning between trucks and docks, featuring a forkliftable design for convenient transport and placement. This robust dock board is constructed entirely from welded steel, making it suitable for high traffic cycles and multiple shift operations. It includes two 1" diameter positioning pins and two 4-position pin pockets on each side to ensure precise and secure placement. Additionally, the dock board has one 7° bend located 17" from the dock end and one 9° bend positioned 8" from the truck end. It complies with OSHA Spec. 1910.30(a) and ANSI Spec. MH30.2. The capacity is determined by the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and lift truck and is rated for a single shift with equipment speeds not exceeding 3 mph. The usable width of the dock board is 6" less than its overall width, and it is recommended that the width be 12" greater than the lift truck or load. Stackers and narrow aisle loaders should not be used on a dock board, and refrigerated trucks require special dockboards. The height difference above the dock is specified as HT." difference up, with an application height of up to 11" above dock or 4.5" below dock when using a propane or gas forklift, and up to 8.5" above dock or 4.5" below dock with an electric forklift or pallet jack.
