The 3M Utility Cloth Roll measures 1 inch in width and 50 yards in length, featuring aluminum oxide with a P180 grit. Users can easily tear the desired length from the roll for specific applications. The majority of the grades come with a light, J-weight cloth backing that offers the flexibility necessary to adapt to circular edges, angles, or various contours, while the P50 and P60 grades possess a stiffer X-weight backing suitable for more coarse sanding tasks. The cloth is designed to be durable, maintaining integrity when bent or rolled without tearing or shelling, and enables hand-tearing for smaller pieces without compromising the sanding surface.
