3M™ 60440235368 Hookit™ paper sheet 236U measures 3" x 4" and features P120 grit aluminum oxide, making it ideal for blending, finishing, and orbital sanding applications in cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, furniture, metal fabrication, and primary wood and panel processing. This product is recognized for its aggressive cut and long life due to its premium aluminum oxide composition, durable edges, and convenient 3M™ Hookit™ attachment system. It is designed for use with a 3 x 4 inch orbital sander and utilizes a strong C-weight paper backing that resists tearing and edge wear under demanding conditions. The resin-bonded construction enhances heat resistance, contributing to the product's longevity and cutting efficiency. Additionally, the sheet features an open coat and a load-resistant coating which improve dust management and cut rate by preventing the abrasive grains from clogging when sanding softer materials like wood and paint. The open coat design allows for better dust evacuation, further optimizing the cut rate and life of the sheet. The 3M™ Hookit™ sheets easily attach to a compatible 3M™ Hookit™ pad (sold separately) and facilitate quick changes between grits, making them reusable for extended use.
