The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Clean and Finish Roll measures 3 inches by 10 yards and features aluminum oxide abrasive with a fine grit designed for consistent finishing, blending, polishing, and cleaning on metals, wood, plastics, and hard-to-reach areas. The roll stock can be cut to any length for precise control, providing consistent surface conditioning throughout the product's life. It incorporates load resistance to keep abrasive particles exposed for a stable cut rate. Available in silicon carbide, aluminum oxide, or talc abrasives, the aluminum oxide variant offers a hard, blocky mineral structure for a high cut rate and long life. The non-woven fiber matrix with embedded abrasives creates an abrasive system that runs cool and is resistant to clogging due to its open-web design, maintaining high performance. This general-purpose pad can be cut by hand or used with a hand pad holder for uniform finishing, or attached to inline or oscillating sanders for larger surfaces. Applications include blending, cleaning, contour finishing, finishing, and lacquer sanding in industries such as metalworking, MRO, and woodworking.
