3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Clean and Finish Roll measures 6" x 10 yds and features Aluminum Oxide VFN grit, delivering consistent results for finishing, blending, polishing, and cleaning on various metals, wood, plastic surfaces, and hard-to-reach areas. The roll stock can be easily cut to any length, providing consistent surface conditioning throughout its life. It is designed with load resistance, which maintains a consistent cut rate by keeping abrasive particles exposed. This general-purpose pad can be utilized by hand for precise control, while the wider stock can be applied with a hand pad holder for uniform finishing or used on inline or oscillating sanders for larger areas. The Scotch-Brite™ Clean and Finish Rolls are available with a choice of silicon carbide, aluminum oxide, or talc abrasive mineral. Silicon carbide is sharp and ideal for low-pressure applications, aluminum oxide offers high cut-rate and longevity, and talc can achieve satin or high gloss finishes in topcoat rubbing applications. These abrasives are integrated into a non-woven fiber matrix, which runs cool and is load resistant, thus limiting clogging and maintaining high performance. Applications for this product include blending, cleaning, contour finishing, finishing, and lacquer sanding, and it is suitable for industries such as marine, metalworking, MRO, and woodworking.
