The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Clean and Finish Roll measures 4 inches in width and 10 yards in length, featuring Silicon Carbide VFN grit for effective finishing, blending, polishing, and cleaning across a variety of surfaces, including metals, wood, and plastics, as well as in hard-to-reach areas. This roll stock can be easily cut to any desired length, providing consistent surface conditioning throughout its lifespan. It exhibits load resistance, ensuring that abrasive particles remain exposed for a consistent cut rate. Designed for versatility, the general-purpose pad can be used manually for precision or paired with a hand pad holder or tools like inline or oscillating sanders for larger surface areas. The product is available with different abrasive minerals: Silicon Carbide, known for its sharpness and suitability for low-pressure applications such as paint preparation; Aluminum Oxide, noted for its durability and high cut rate; and Talc, which provides a mild abrasive option for achieving satin or high gloss finishes in topcoat applications.
