The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ clean and finish roll measures 4 inches by 10 yards and features an aluminum oxide medium grit abrasive designed for consistent finishing, blending, polishing, and cleaning on a variety of metals, wood, and plastic surfaces, including hard-to-reach areas. The roll stock can be easily cut to any length, providing consistent surface conditioning throughout the product's life. Its load resistance maintains exposure of abrasive particles for a steady cut rate. The general-purpose pad can be hand-cut for precise control, and wider width stock can be paired with a hand pad holder or used on inline or oscillating sanders for uniform finishing over larger areas. Scotch-Brite™ rolls are available with silicon carbide, aluminum oxide, or talc abrasive minerals; aluminum oxide offers a high cut rate and long life with a hard, blocky mineral structure. These abrasives are embedded within a non-woven fiber matrix, creating a system that delivers consistent performance while running cool and resisting clogging. Suitable applications include blending, cleaning, contour finishing, finishing, and lacquer sanding, with use across marine, metalworking, MRO, and woodworking industries.
